AIDS Caregiver Kits for Zambia www.worldvision.org
In partnership with World Vision, the Cathedral and other churches in the Northwest Deanery of the Rio Grande Diocese joined together in 2009 to raise money to provide AIDS Caregiver Kits to Zambia.
Zambia, is a landlocked African country with a high percentage of the population living and dying from AIDS. The caregivers—friends and family members of the patients--have an enormous need for the simple contents of these kits: latex gloves, Vaseline and a battery-powered flashlight, for example. Each kit can also include two types of date sensitive medicines that would otherwise be unavailable to them.

The Spread of Christ's Kingdom Among Men and Boys
The Brotherhood of St. Andrew is a missionary and evangelism ministry of the Episcopal Church and Anglican Communion. In fact, it is the oldest evangelistic ministry of the Episcopal Church. Our goal is to bring men and boys to Jesus Christ. Many parishes in the diocese have parish chapters and the Albuquerque parishes have a city-wide meeting on the 5th Saturday of each month.

Ministering with Grace
Grace Camp is a special ministry tradition at Camp Stoney that services the children of those in prison.
Each summer as part of the Camp Stoney program, Grace Camp provides a week of inclusive Christian camping for “at risk” children, ages 8-13, who have one or both parents in prison.
Eligible campers are invited to the Sangre de Cristo Mountains outside of Santa Fe to enjoy a week of exciting summer camp. The trained camp counselors give special emphasis to helping increase the campers’ self-esteem and confidence. Campers are taught group cooperation, and are provided with alternatives to violent behavior. Grace Camp is a place where campers may experience — perhaps for the first time —unconditional love and forgiveness. See also "Camp Stoney."

Diocesan Coordinator: Mrs. Rickie Sherrill firstname.lastname@example.org
UTO’s Vision: We will significantly impact the lives of women and children because of Christ’s love.
It is with great enthusiasm we present the new UTO Vision Statement!
To achieve this vision we will focus particularly on projects that implement significant change toward alleviating profound human suffering that the Millennium Development Goals address. Our work will directly impact the lives of women and children. Our new vision will be reflected in the 2009 UTO grant criteria and awards.
UTO will continue our historic mission to address compelling human need and expand the mission and ministry of the church. UTO is a spiritual and financial partner in the mission work of The Episcopal Church, through every person in every pew.
Daily Thanks Improves Daily Life.
