Why send your children to Camp?
Located in the majestic forested countryside east of Santa Fe on 240 acres, Camp Stoney and Bishop Stoney Retreat Center offers a variety of options in an enchanting setting.
Camp Stoney Mission Statement. Our mission is to encourage people of all ages to grow stronger in their personal relationship with Jesus Christ, providing an atmosphere which promotes learning, leadership development and Christian discipleship for the building of God's kingdom.

Bishop Stoney Retreat Center offers many possibilities for small and large group gatherings such as corporate retreats, day meetings, company picnics, family reunions, strategic planning, team building on our ropes course, and weddings. It is a wonderful place for parish retreats; we have parishes who have set time every year where they can get away for a time of renewal, education and fellowship. We would love to tailor an event especially for you.
Ministering with Grace
Grace Camp is a special ministry tradition at Camp Stoney that services the children of those in prison.
Each summer as part of the Camp Stoney program, Grace Camp provides a week of inclusive Christian camping for “at risk” children, ages 8-13, who have one or both parents in prison.
Eligible campers are invited to the Sangre de Cristo Mountains outside of Santa Fe to enjoy a week of exciting summer camp. The trained camp counselors give special emphasis to helping increase the campers’ self-esteem and confidence. Campers are taught group cooperation, and are provided with alternatives to violent behavior. Grace Camp is a place where campers may experience — perhaps for the first time —unconditional love and forgiveness.
